Yellow Warrior

The Yellow Warrior is the 16th glyph of the Tzolkin and key words associated with it are `questing and intelligence`. People born on these days are on a mission. They are always asking questions and have a insatiable appetite for knowledge. Yellow Warriors ask profound questions like `why are we here?`and `what is the meaning of life`. The occult glyph for the Yellow Warrior is the Red Serpent.The occult glyph represents the magical gift we have hidden within us. The Red Serpent is associated with ‘life force, instinct and kundalini.` The serpent is a sacred creature in many cultures. It is a symbol of healing because of the ability to shed it’s own skin . The eyes of the serpent glaze over giving it a trance like appearance. This symbolises the need to go through a similar process, in order to be healed. When the serpent emerges from it`s old skin it is re- newed as if reborn. But he only achieves a new life by going through a transformational process first.
