Once you’ve learned about the day you were born on you can begin to make connections. Living with the calendar each day will teach about how every day resonates differently with your own glyph.Furthermore you can discover about your connections to other people.

ADDING GLYPHS (kin)

Another way to see connections between yourself and other people is by adding your glyphs (kin) together.
Let`s say you are a White Lunar Dog and a your partner is a Blue Overtone Hand..
First add the glyphs.
White Dog is the tenth glyph and Blue Hand is the seventh glyph 10+7=17
The 17th glyph is the Red Earth.
Now add your numbers together.
Lunar is the name for the number two. Overtone is the name for the number five. 5+2=7
Resonant is the name for the number seven, so when you add the two together you get
Red Resonant Earth.

Relationships

If you want to see if someone is a suitable partner for you , you can add your glyphs together to see what you add up to.
Sometimes that`s not neccessary as often there is a more obviuos connection.
It is common for couples to be born with the same kin or as each other's occult.

CHALLENGES, GUIDES

If you compile a birth chart for yourself you will see which glyphs represent your Guide, Challenge, Like- minded and Occult. When you follow the calendar you will notice how these days affect you. People born on these days also have a connection to you. Perhaps someone you know gets up your nose? Maybe they were born on your challenge day.
Has someone always had good advice for you? Maybe they were born on your guide day.
Like minded people are those who were born on your like minded day and you’ll find you share things in common with them.
People born on your Occult day have a magical relationship to you.

OCCULT QUARTETS

There is a group of four days that have a relationship with each other based on the shape they make on the Tzolkin. Find your day on the Tzolkin and now on the same column find your Occult. That is two of the group of four, to find the other two, count how many columns your day is from the nearest edge. Now count that same number of columns but from the other edge. Now find the glyph that is the same as your birth glyph (kin) and the occult glpyh that is on the same coloum. If you drew a line between them all it should make a perfect square or rectangle. People born on these other days are part of your Occult Quartet and if you get together with them in a group it should be very interesting. Note: If you were born on the central column it doesn`t work the same.You only have an Occult duo.
